Our Exclusive Limited Editions are real works of art. Each one meticulously hand made using traditional techniques of ages ago.
This Limited Edition was created by artist Mark Christopher Garrett. He created the Original art piece over twenty years ago, and has decided to use it to launch a series of Limited Edition Prints. Each print begins with an original piece of art traditionally drawn with pen and ink. Next, that art is transferred onto film, this will be used as a film positive for making the screen. Exposing the screen will be the sun, the oldest of light sources. Once the screen is made, only a limited amount of t-shirts will be hand printed on a manual printing press. So, the entire process from beginning to end will be performed by the artist and not a machine! This design (Ace of Spades) will be the First design of the series, as others will follow. With the criteria for each to meet the standards of being completely done by the artist. So, as you can see, this is not your average t-shirt with your run of the mill design on it. These are truly works of art, each one masterfully created from sketch to final print by the artist themselves. The Edition for this print will be limited to only 50 t-shirts. The shirts will sell for $50.00 and are now on pre-sale, in order to allow us to coordinate the proper canvas (shirt color, size) for each collector (Printing on 2/22/12). This Fee covers all taxes and shipping cost. All Limited Edition Prints are properly hand signed complete with edition number, and each collectible work of art comes with a certified certificate of authenticity hand signed by the artist.
